Post by: ansario on Fri, 02 October 2015, 08:42:11
Hi guys, it's me, ansario. I'm new to the forums. I'm a proud owner of a KBT Pure Pro and Razer Blackwidow. I hope to expand my collection in the future!

Welcome to Geekhack! Don't see too many Pure Pro's out there. How do you like it? What switches do you have?

It's a me, ansario! Woo hoo!

For the record this guy sits about 10 feet away from me at work. Slowly converting everyone in the office to using mechanical keyboards... ;D

I want him to ditch his KBT Pure Pro so he can get a board with a standard layout, but he don't wanna :P

Welcome to Geekhack!

What switches have you got in those keyboards, and which keyboards are you thinking of getting next?

It's a nice keyboard. Before I figured out how to reprogram keys, the single unit back space key was annoying but I have since switched the delete and backspace key. All is well now. I have browns!

Don't listen to him, Pure Pros are awesome. You'll end up buying other boards with more standard (and common keyset compatible) eventually, it's just a universal law of being among the clicky people. Welcome Ansario! :)

Brown and blue are lighter switches, around 45g.  55g Topre might be a bit stiffer than you like, but for many 55g Topre is ideal!
