Really cool how these guys keep tabs on whats going on with the community. Both places were happy to send some swag caps for the GH tribute project I've been working on, these will make awesome additions.
Also- my first DSA cap ever! Also love how the MK.com logo is 2 caps overlapping to make an M. Clever dudes.

Do you have a link to the GH tribute project?

I have a google doc with contributors and/or parts I have so far. I add GH personalities everyday. A big goal is to get as many GH community members involved as possible repped on the board, but that post will come after I have done all the legwork with the makers! What I love about this project is it's celebrating non-makers as well on the board. I've been avoiding that post because I don't want it to seem... erm.. needy or greedy- and I want it to read much more like "hey, here's this cool thing I've done and I want to welcome any GHer that wants to be a part of it" instead of it being like asking for help. That said, the whole goal is to make a community designed board (I'm not choosing what caps go on, GH and the artisans are :P ) and I'm not here for free stuff- I want to pay for anything appropriate as long as my wallet will let me :P I do want to express that the artisan makers have made this way more affordable than it could have been, many of them cutting me great deals or even just donating! The response has been inspiring and kept me motivated (all the PMing can oddly be exhausting, haha). Probably hundreds of PM's of correspondence from people- but I've loved every second of it!
If you wanna see what's happening so far- shoot me a PM and I'll be happy to show you- trying to keep it from being just out in the public til the big reveal <3

I'm not quite following this, so I have a question. :) Are you sourcing designs for a keyboard (PCB, case, etc), or for a keycap set? Any info you're willing to share would be awesome so I can follow this better. :D

I would have LOVED to included a PCB maker, a Leandren plate , etc.. A case design is potentially int he works for a custom case- we'll see. It would have been a great way to get more GHers in the family photo, but frankly I'm a nub when it comes to building and wiring so it intimidates me slightly. The board it will go on was previously livingspeedbumps, and that was good enough for me!

This seems to be a great way to collect Artisan keys for free.
Anybody have any ClickClacks they want to send me for my ClickClack Tribute project?
:p

Hah, what's crazy is I was ostensibly offered a pretty valuable cap (not a clack) for free. This community is insanely generous. I politely declined to avoid that exact misconception.
