Hi there,
Any canadians here who bought the HHKB? Looking for a place to buy the HHKB in CANADA. Doing rough calculations, the HHKB2 ends up being 358 CAD after exchange rate and taxes from Elitekeyboards.
Thanks

Have a look at Amazon, that is where I got mine from. Some of the suppliers do international shipping.

Edit: Not Canadian but circumstance similar, not in the realm of the golden kingdom of online shopping.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, 230 dollars US would equal to 298 CAD + shipping + 13% tax + duty (which i think is 6%) T_T.
I'm hoping to find something similar to filco. Filco in the US is about 140 dollars. In Canada, NCIX (a computer parts store) sells filco keyboards for about 140-150 CAD. SO the price is very similar to the states (actually cheaper considering the exchange rate) + i dont have to pay shipping, duty, and crappy exchange rate.
EDIT: obviously, I cannot expect to find a deal as good as the filco but I was hoping to find something better than ordering from the US. 220 US to 360CAD is too much T_T

Yeah the weak Canadian dollar is making purchases like that brutal.
I'd recommend posting a WTB thread in the classifieds. You may come across someone looking to sell theirs in Canada.
I'm not aware of any Canadian-based resellers that carry the HHKB.

Did you look into buying it from a proxy?

Try looking at Amazon Japan + Tenso proxy. That's where I got mine. A quick conversion on google is approximately 22000 JPY = 238 CAD, that's before taxes and shipping.

Hi guys,
I apologize for not posting a response. Thank you for all your suggestions. A friend of mine will be going to japan in the coming spring and I decided I would just get him to pick one up for me.
Thanks again.
