I have had a couple of these old-style AT101s and they all had Pink ALPS. However, the Deskthority wiki says this particular FCC ID has Black ALPS.
FCC ID GYUM97SK
Made by Silitek in Taiwan. Alps SKCM Black switches.

Yeah, I've seen them with both and have learned not to say it is definitely x, y, or z without a cap off.

Nope, the FCC never lies with these ones! This one is EARLY black Alps and should have thin ABS with dyesubbed legends. It's a really good keyboard actually. Watch my review on why this keyboard is completely different from the AT101W here:

I have had 2 old-logo AT101s and both had black Alps and ABS caps.
The only PBT caps I ever got came from a (presumably early) new-logo AT101.

The only ones with Salmon Alps are the GYIAT101-102 ones as far as I know. They are also the only ones with thick PBT dyesubbed caps, I think. Silitek (GYU) then moved through early black Alps and dyesubbed ABS and coiled cables to late black Alps with lasered ABS and straight cables with windows keys over the course of several models, I think all of which I've owned or still own (chronologically GYIAT101-102, GYUM97SK, GYUM95SK, and GYUM90SK).

black alps, thin ABS..............
...
dell alps "salmon alps" boards are dye sub and the GYI3PVAT101 has salmon alps, dye sub with a somewhat purplish legend.
as chyros has demonstrated if you get a decent old logo with black alps 1.5 CTRL/ALT, IMOP they are a tad different, are better than the newer AT101 with black alps.
i have a NIB Dell AT101 with the 1.25 mods and i do love it. especially with the infinity mods and the new alps DS i got from a recent Massdrop.
the only thing abt the dell AT101's..............is that the Caps Lock is a little "off center" like the cherry boards, so none of the caps lock-- caps in the recents GB's, etc. will fit.
appreciate everybody who has went to bat for us ALPS LOVERS getting some choices for caps................for me 99% compatibility :thumb:
the infinity GB was just flat out sick.............badwrench, those who contributed did an "outstanding" job and THANK YOU!

One note; the GYUM95SK has 1.5 u modifiers and no windows keys but still uses the later black Alps (it's what I call the "75% of the way through" model).

Really, a board that vintagey-looking with simple Alps? Who'd know? And yet when I tried one of these at a friend's, it felt vastly nicer to me than his AT-101W.
Of course with Alpses, the degree of use figures into it. Let's face it: Life's complicated—even when it's simple.
