Title: What threaded inserts are people using on these wooden cases.

I know the standard poker style uses a M2 with .4mm thread pitch.  However, they don't make threaded inserts that go that small.  So what are people using in these wooden cases.

They do make them at 4mm! I just got 100 of them in the mail. You can find them on eBay. Typically I use 6mm M2 brass knurled standoffs, which are easier to find. I have up to 12mm on hand as well. Just be careful to not  make the bottom of your case to thin, that could potentially lead to warping. Type of wood matters too.

Thanks!  I see them now.  I just wish places like mcmaster or fastenal had them instead of chinese stuff from online.  I found some double sided female ones.  My plan is to drill out the wooden standoffs to 3mm and then sink these with some glue into them.
