Title: Hello!
Post by: KYLETS8 on Tue, 20 October 2015, 01:50:08
Hello, my name is Kyle, and for the past two-three years I've been obsessed with keyboards.
I've been a lurker on the site for about a year, and finally decided to make an account so I can get involved more in the community, and in group buys!
Using a Ducky Shine Mini with mx blues to type this, and I absolutely love it. Also had a Razer Blackwidow that I started with, and a Logitech G710+ that I am planning on painting.
I've always wanted to know how much a BroBot v2, on average, would cost, as it has always been my dream cap. Thanks for reading, have an excellent day/night!! Hope to see you around the forums.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Bro originally said he didn't want anyone to sell Bro Bots at an above retail price, so that would make the average Bro Bot V2 around $30.

I don't know whether he has relaxed that stance a bit, but I've been seeing more and more of them listed at higher than average prices.

Then if you include the (external) auctions for good and Geekhack-sanctioned causes (keycap auctions are generally not very well received if the sole aim is to make money for the seller), then that would push the average price up a bit.

Unfortunately the V2 has reached its end of life, and V3 is on the way.  If you really want a V2, you will need to keep a close watch on . (https://geekhack.org/index.php?board=59.0classifieds[/url)
