hi all, so using this tool
http://builder.swillkb.com/
you can get it to auto draw custom plates for you, but my problem is when i open it in autocad, the scaling is off, and I don't know what the true size of the switch holes are so i can properly get it to the right size.
Any help?

I bet you could ask in the thread specifically for it -> https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=65189.0

whoops, didn't know that existed.
disreguard the post then.

I need to make a video for this and put it in the op.
Just let me know if you have other questions. :)

I imagine that this is still the same problem of the program not setting it for a unit of measurement and it defaulting to inched when opened meaning you have to change it to metric to get it correct.

The units are not saved in the export. If your cad software defaults to inches it won't know any different and will try to use inches.
By setting the units to MM and then saving in dxf 2007 (which includes units) you now make it in ambiguous. :)
