Hey I'm new here, well sort of. I finally got around to making an account.
I'm a college junior and have been into keyboards for a couple of years.
I currently have a Ducky Premier with MX Browns and a IBM Model M.
I'm waiting on a Planck kit and some 65g Zealios for my first build!

Welcome!
I got to try a Planck out recently, it was pretty interesting. Be sure to share photos of your progress!

Welcome to Geekhack!
A nice couple of keyboards you have so far, and a good range of options you've tried or are planning to try.
Do you have a preference out of the keyboards you have tried?

Thank You!
I like alternating between the 2 boards I have now, although the browns feel a little too light and buckling springs feel a little too heavy.
That's why I think the zealios will be a good fit for me, and I am really looking forward to them.
I am also interested in trying 45g topre and matias quiet click one day, as those sound like switches I would enjoy too.

Topre is interesting as it has a different force curve to MX switches, and probably does fall between, say, browns and clears in overall actuation force.
My first thought on using MX clears was that they were a few grams too heavy, and Zealios would be an ideal drop-in replacement. Well, an ideal disassemble, unsolder, solder, reassemble replacement :))
