Title: Compatible PCB's with ducky shine 3 tkl plate?
Post by: humdar on Mon, 26 October 2015, 23:10:44
I have a dead ducky shine 3 tkl pcb so i'd like to get a new pcb that would fit with the plate.
Preferably supports leds

Edit: TKL plate

The Winkeyless B.87 EX (http://winkeyless.kr/product/b-87-ex-x2-pcb/) looks to be the right layout?

Edit: But looks for the mounting holes, you may be able to drill replacements and run some jumper wires but would be better if you didn't have to.  Assuming you want to use the case as well as the plate...

Do you know if the a.87 and b.87 are the same in terms of spacing?
Because I actually have an a.87 but the function rows are closer and so it doesn't quite fit with the shine 3 plate

You're right, I checked the spacing between Esc and F1 but not below.  Looks like the Ducky is 1/4 of a key while the B.87 is 1/2...

Gon NerD 108 (http://www.gonskeyboardworks.com/pcbs-and-controllers/78-nerd-108-pcb-ver15.html) looks to be right there but it has too big a gap between alphas and arrows and the Leeku mx3000 has an even bigger gap under the F row - I'm out of ideas.

You could always wire up a Teensy ++ like I did, though mine doesn't have backlighting :))
