I'm trying to build cheap ergonomic board, and right now designing the plate. So I've found these switches http://techkeys.us/collections/accessories/products/keyboard-switches (http://techkeys.us/collections/accessories/products/keyboard-switches) for 0.3$ per unit, and reviews seem to be alright. However it says "Please note: the Red and Brown switches are Chinese made MX-Compatible Switches, and while fitting and functioning the same have a different style housing.". So, what kind of holes do I need to cut in my plate to fit these switches?

P.S.
I'm new to this, so I might be lacking some of the knowledge that is trivial for an average geekhacker.

The difference in the housing is the way the top latches to the bottom. In the pic you've got you can see how the switch on the right has two legs holding top to bottom and the one on the left has a single leg that is horizontal.
The fit for the plate opening is the same but I'm not sure if you want a modified plate that allows for switch top removal if it would work with the switches on the left.
You can also get gaterons from www.mechanicalkeyboards.com for the same price.

Thanks! Hovewer I only need 60 switches, and for the same price I get either 60 or 100, does this forum organize some sort of co-op purchases?

What switches are you looking for specifically? i.e. red, brown, blue etc

I don't really know, never owned a mechanical keyboard. I think any of those would do.

PM me your address and I'll send you a few different switches, it isn't the same as having a full board but at least you'll have some idea before you commit.
