Hello geeks, i'm new here, and I'm in progress of making my first keyboard. I wanted to share my key plate design, so you could share some insights/criticize it a bit.
As you can see the design is a bit funky, i'm going to 3d print custom keys. I'm open to suggestions.

Yes, I think you would have to 3D-print custom keys if you are going to have some unusually shaped keys.
The two "space bars" are 3 units wide which is unusual, and just as unusual to find stabiliser wires that would go all the way to the left and right. That is just how wide you could make them with stabilisers for 2u keys before they would bind too much.

Nothing like jumping in the deep end - this certainly qualifies :)
I'm quite intrigued as to what keymap you're planning that utilises big keys in the corners, but other than that the only thing that looks like it could be an issue is the keys top middle and the top stabilised one in the middle which look dangerously close on the top corners. Probably workable with custom caps though...
It looks like you've drawn this plate yourself (very impressive!) but if you're worried about the stabs you could try making the layout here (http://keyboard-layout-editor.com) and running it through Swill's plate designer to get a plate that will work. Are you planning to get the plate cut or 3D print that too?

Thanks for the tip, fixed it. Also moved to cherry stabilizers.
