Title: Ducky Zero DK2108SZ some keys stopped working randomly
Post by: pnut03 on Thu, 29 October 2015, 01:35:27
With the Zero DK2108SZ some keys stopped working completely for some random reason. The leds are still working. Here are the list of keys not working:

Numpad:
7,8,9 and +

Arrows:
Up arrow

Thats pretty much it that has stopped working, I play lots of games and some of these keys are not needed but i also sometimes try to use blender to model or Unity to make a game and they could come in handy. Any help?

That sounds like a break in the matrix but it's not the same layout as my Ducky Zero so I can't suggest a "magic" fix.  If you have a soldering iron and some fairly thin wire (any kind will work but I find stiff is easier for this work) it should be easy enough to fix :)

As to what needs soldering where we'll need a pic of that area of the PCB taken from an angle where you can see the lines (traces) which connect things - bigger is better but in focus and a good angle is most important.
