Title: The ultimate gaming keyboard for gamers
Post by: AndrewZorn on Sun, 08 November 2009, 07:08:34

I've seen a lot of funny stuff sold here in Iraq, but so far this is the best, a guy just bought it and brought it in (not a joke purchase to him, though...).

I mean, every single thing on the box is a joke.  800dpi!

This "Gaming keyboard for Gamers" - is it any good for playing games. They should really specify this.

A jenyooine HP product from their gaming division, I'm sure.

What the $@%@$#% is "rapid displacement" even supposed to mean?

Sinks fast when you throw it in water.

Does "positioning accuracy" mean it has levels and rulers to help you keep it at the perfect angle all the time?

Psst... that's code for "CHEATS BUILT IN." You can have 100% accuracy in any FPS.

I see that the keyboard has both U. S. layout characters and Arabic-language characters on it, so that's probably why the English-language slogan on the box is daft.

I presume the "800 dpi" somehow refers to the keyboard being able to act as a mouse, as opposed to it being a printer, although I can't see a touchpad, trackball, or piezoelectric device on it. Perhaps the four buttons near the red cursor pad have something to do with shifting them into a mouse mode.

you are way overestimating this keyboard
hint: the marked price (of $15, here) is never what people actually end up paying

i do plan to buy a keyboard from here before i leave because of how cool the arabic lettering does look, if only there was one with topre/cherry compatible keycaps...

Visiting the King Ideas web site - it's a company in Thailand - they make something with the only brass USB plug available in the Asian region, but while they have keyboards listed on their site, they don't have any HP keyboards listed. I had missed the mention of Iraq in your first post.
