Title: Please help me identify this keyboard
Post by: Myk! on Tue, 03 November 2015, 05:48:31
A friend of mine send this photo to me. He is not familiar with a mechanical or buckling spring keyboard. He just saw this on a store few miles away. He forgot to check the back for the brand/model.

Can you identify this keyboard on its appearance?

Hmm, this is a hard one. Especially because the brand sticker seems to be missing from the top left.

Purely on how old it looks, and the layout, i would say it's mechanical. I can't guarantee anything though.

Can someone more knowledgeable come in?

Looks like a white Alps board.

Looked like K104 to me.  I've only seen it in white Alps, but there are variations.

The 104 has a larger case.

I once bought a K208 on eBay, having hoped that it would be a 104...

Easy enough to mix those up, but the bezel of the K102-4 is slightly larger at the top .

Thats what im using here at work! A very ****ty rubber dome, even for a rubber dome.

At least their caps are alps compatible.
