We used to have a "keyboards in movies" thread...

That looks like an Apple Extended Keyboard, with an IBM sticker. In your image, it definitely looks like the "cloverleaf" symbol found on a Mac's "Command" key, along with the Option key. The key text looks like that standard Apple keyboard font of that period, and you can see where the marked over the Apple logos... both on the Command key, and the Apple logo directly under that fake IBM logo!
You can also spot the "nubs" next to the Escape key. There is another nub like that not he right side of the keyboard.
Also, if there are other angles in the movie, Look for the flattened Power key in the top right corner if the movie has another shot of the keyboard that shows that particular view. I haven't seen the movie in years, so I don't recall if that angle is ever shown or not.

She's ugly... But this is the ISO version, complete with symbolic keys vs printed named keys. This is definitely what was used on the movie. :))
Wonder how many Apple fanboys hairs bristled up at seeing Big Blue slapped all over their precious! :p

And what's worse is that IBM paid to have that done.

This was mentioned over on DT... At the end of this scene Alan Cumming is typing frenetically using only his left hand, while spinning a (secretly explosive) a pen in his right.
There are cuts back and forth between different shots ... in which he is typing on two different keyboards. One is compact, and one has a function key row.

Ah yes. This is almost as good as the 'Dell' boxes in the '1950s bunker' in Terminator:Rise of the Machines. :))

Funny that they covered up the apple on the command key to the right of the spacebar. :D. Odd why they branded an AEKII as IBM instead of, you know, using an IBM M keyboard. Probably too loud :D.

Cool! I've spotted a lot of interesting keyboards while watching the X Files and it just made the experience so much better.

Which ones?
