Title: Lurker for a few months, newly registered
Post by: DinosaurGoRoar on Thu, 05 November 2015, 06:04:12: Hey Geekhack, figured I'd register and introduce myself. General fan of mechs and tinkering. Been browsing through the geekhack Media forum and all the project threads.

I've had a few mechs, my first one was a model M that I saved from being thrown out by a local company about 15 years ago, and I've bought a few Razer keyboards which I used for a long time. Currently using a BlackWidow Ultimate which is my current keyboard at the office, but I rotate them around. I have a Pok3r on the way (like many others I've noticed), and I've been tinkering with building my own keyboard.

I'm a software programmer, gamer and electronics hobbyist.

Looking forward to posting a build log when I finish a full sized keyboard!

Make sure to share your progress with your board in the "Making Stuff Together!" subforum, the best place on geekhack IMO :)

Haha yeah, that's the forum where I've been spending most of my time :) The keycap molding has me intrigued...

BlackWidow gets a lot of hate around here, but also some love. It will be interesting to see what you think of the BW after you've tried the Pok3r for a while ;)
