This game. Is awesome.
I'm apart of the closed beta and I advise anyone interested to apply and give it a go. Its relatively well polished for how early on it is. This isn't pay to win, its difficult and loads of fun. There isn't grinding its just raw, straight into action CQC spaceships.

Add me on steam and come and give it a go:

Hrrrrmm...... Idk man.. it's just more flashy.. I think most of the 30yr olds around here would agree that 6dof began and ended with freespace 2..

I got motion sickness so bad watching it =( I only got through 25% of the video before I had to get up and walk a bit to get rid of the motion sickness.

Having played it for a few hours there isn't any motion sickness when you are the one directing the ship yourself

Hmmm... Descent, modernised a bit. I'd prefer if it didn't have the self-leveling and the levels were less 2.5D, with mostly flat layout with levels. Something like an abandoned space station in zero gravity, no "up" direction, tunnels heading off in all angles, etc. It's a bit too much like a floaty Unreal Tournament the way it is now.
Then I could finally use my SpaceNavigator as a controller :D

It doesn't, you have to level your ship yourself with the yaw controls

There isn't really an up direction you can navigate the maps how you like, text on doors etc is written upside down and right side up. Join the beta and leave the Dev's feedback, thats what the beta is for.
