I've noticed that many of Unicomp's keyboards have have beige backspace keys instead of gray ones. Anyone know why?

Any of the ones I've seen that were meant to have grey keys have grey keys.

Maybe I'm imagining things but the key shown in that photo looks the same as the other surrounding keys.
I think that's the problem - I think he means that it should be the same colour as some of the grey keys on the board, such as the enter key.

I'm more likely to call them "white" and "gray", myself.

For most keyboards with that color scheme, they aren't white and gray. They're yellow and brown.

all i know is that some newer ibm keyboards have blue enter keys

You guys got me wonder and just check.
- My two beige Unicomps have grey BS
- My two black on black Unicomps are as advertized.
(black on black all the way)

Cream white and ecru (which is a grayish brown), perhaps, yeah.
