Title: wasd blue o rings
Post by: Harms on Mon, 16 November 2015, 14:33:22
Hey guys, what's what's thickness of the wasd blue o rings? On the site it only shows the amount of travel reduced.

I ask because I want to buy ones with the same thickness off mass drop.

Just measured mine, about 1.5mm thick. Hard to tell with a ruler. I think you want the black, though, assuming those are the Max Keyboard o-rings.

I picked up this set (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/141591750545) of o-rings off ebay a little while ago.

The best thing I have to compare them to are these (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/max-keyboard-o-rings?mode=guest_open) o-rings I got of massdrop a year or 2 ago.

Size wise, they're the same at 1.5mm thick.  No clue on the hardness of the ebay ones.  The massdrop ones were listed at a hardness of 50A.  By comparison, the ebay ones are definitely squishier when compressed lengthwise, so maybe they're softer (someone smarter than me may be able to chime in if those properties have a correlation).

I don't know what all your requirements are, but you may be able to get something similar off ebay for a little cheaper.
