Has anyone here put novatouch stems on their hhkb pro2, and what was the experience like? Does it change the feel of the board at all?

I am here! I honestly didn't notice any change on the feeling of the board. Please note that the tolerances are pretty tight on the housings and some of the novatouch stems will not depress all the way down. You will need to keep trying different stems for different housings to make sure that the diameter of the stem is right.

If you put cherry profile caps on, it feels pretty much the same. But, some caps catch on the slider housing. You can usually remedy this by putting on the cherry mx silencing rings (which will just mount the keycaps slightly higher, not reduce travel like on an MX board).
Even with SA keycaps, the thock and tactility remains the same, although louder due to the sheer size of SA caps. Might be a hair easier to depress, because of the extra weight of SA.
My two favorite combos so far is SA and cherry POM keycaps.

To add, I've tried GMK and DCS and have had no problems with catching on the slider. However, my HHKB is modded a bit more than just the stem swap.
Here is the setup:
Novatouch sliders
Lubed with Kryptox mix
55g Realforce domes
EK Soft landing pads, ironed and trimmed
Left shift and Enter housings drilled.

Thanks guys. I was wondering if its worth the $130 pricetag :/ to buy a whole novatouch board for this reason since its on massdrop now. I wish they'd just sell the stems...

You could wait to see if you can snipe some JTK sliders when they are shipped.

where do you get jtk sliders? Also on a much more unrelated note, how does everyone get a little picture of their keyboard on the bottom of their posts?

CtrlAlt will be selling the JTK sliders out of their store in the near future.
The keyboard pixel art thingies can be found in the Keyboard Pixel Art thread in the geekhack Media forum.
