Title: Qubes, a security-oriented operating system

I was reading an article today which mentioned Qubes, and on more research it looks quite interesting. Anyone have experience with it?

I've briefly heard about it. I am more familiar with Tails which is an amnesic OS as well as Whonix which seems more similar to Qubes.  Both Tails and Whonix route all network traffic through the Tor network and with Whonix, dns leaks are nearly impossible.  Basically Tails is for live booting, Whonix for VMs, and Qubes for a full OS install.  Neither Qubes nor Tails should be run in VMs.

Cool, I haven't heard much about Tails, but I am more familiar with Whonix. I did hear that about not running Qubes in a VM as well :)

Not running it in a VM is for security/anonymity reasons, but if you want to test them out then you can definitely give 'em a try in a VM  :thumb:
