Title: Model F 122 Tilted Spacebar

Hello Geekhack! I just got my first mechanical keyboard (the Model F). But it has a issue with the spacebar that its tilted and it wont register if you press it from the far right.


I made a video to demonstrate it, also it has really crappy sound to it (the spacebar the other keys sound fantastic :D)

I know the Model F spacebar is the "spawn of satan" so how does one fix this issue?

F 122-key spacebar is just like the Model M except for a smaller and thinner wire.

My guess is that the wire has come out of the tab or the tab is broken. It can be pulled up (straight up) easily, just like most other spacebars.

The XT and AT variants are another matter.

Thank you so much! I pulled it out and the tabs were fine! I was able to put it back on and now it works but it still makes very odd sound.
