The thicker the better for topre imo

It's already PITA to keep the original keycaps white, can't imagine with this one.
Just stop picking your nose and typing with your boogers, not nice sunshine ;) .
I always wash my hands before using my White Thorpies, hence no chance of dirtying them. Despite working in a greasy workshop all day/night long, still manage to clean myself up before using any keyboard within my possession.

Thank you i though i ordered the wrong one thx

I'm pretty sure spring lube is the thinnest

spring lube is the thinnest man :D

I've got this lube (http://elitekeyboards.com/products.php?sub=access,misc&pid=mechlube_2) arriving in a few days. Will let you know how it works with my HHKB =)

Well we need to discuss whats the best lube for topre here. Im interested to test the secret lube that Bunnylake made and the japanese lube ro-59

I used the Krytox extra thick blend to lube my 55g and I couldn't be happier with it. I definitely agree that the thicker the lube the better.

Thick GH V3 lube from Zeal, or somewhat thicker. A nice thin coat of the thick V3 on the slider housing and stems works wonders.
-
I prefer thin because it doesn't take away from the snappiness of the sliders as much as thick. I wish I had taken a video/sound recording of my HHKB prior to the lube to show the difference. Oh well. I guess I should get another one and do the same thing but record my findings :D

thanks guys! I stand corrected :P I ordered Zeal's thick lube and his spring lube, saved me from using the spring lube on topre! Thanks!

I think its better to buy the thick for this position (http://i.imgur.com/2YnaOhm.jpg) and buy the thin lube for the stem, am I right? :p

I was planning on getting some lube and Hypersphere's silencing rings for next year. I love my RF87U as it is, and I'm kind of curious of the effect of those mods. :p
-
I've heard sound tests with those two mods and the board is almost completely silent. I'll try to dig up the video.
