I've been looking into building a 60% recently, just for the hell of it and also because next year I'm going to be in college next year and I want to be able to clack away my notes in class.
I've been looking into the Zealios key switches and have been seeing good reviews about them but I haven't seen anything on how they feel or how they sound.
I was thinking this would be a good medium to ask people about Zealios,
If anyone has owned or currently own a board with Zealios switches I would love to hear about your experience with them. Thanks!

In the original GB thread you can find VERY detailed reviews:

I'm not sure if the reviews include sound though. At least my Zealios do not make more noise than Blacks/Reds for example.

What type of Zealios do you have and do you keep o-rings on them?

I've got linear and tactile in all 3 weights, but haven't tested them on board yet. Also haven't tested with o-rings, sorry.

I put in tactile 65g Zealios in my Orion v2 with a plastic plate and it is pretty quiet. I love the tactility of the keys, for me 65g is perfect as well since I liked my 62g vintage blues in my rs96. I can not speak for all the variations of Zealios and can only give you my personal opinion on them. I also did not have any problems with my Zealios when soldering them unlike some people have said in the group buy.

They're definitely too loud for classroom. I'd get a good scissor-switch keyboard like the Lenovo USB one instead or you'll drive people crazy.
I've found the Zealios to be lower-pitched than the switches they replaced, and they sound less gritty. They are my favorite Cherry MX-based switch and feel nice and smooth with a pronounced tactile bump.
I personally thought I'd like the 65g but am finding the 62g is better to reduce fatigue. 65g starts to feel like stock MX Clear to me, though with a less steep force curve.

+1
I can confirm the two findings with my last GON build (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=77183.0), the acrylic plate makes the switches very quite, not only the Zealios but also the ergo clears, and ergo blacks, and I did no have any chattering issue with my board.

I just finished a 60% build with 65g Tactile Zealios and I installed 2mm orings. I used it like this for about two weeks, but I couldn't get the hang of them, they felt weird, so I removed the orings, way better now. I'm using some ducky PBT and waiting a SA keyset hoping they can even improve the feel.
