QMX-Clip by GMK
I get one sample.
Do you like it?
-
Yes! I got mine from MD, with 2x orings & jailhouse blue, it further reduces my actuate distance. Good for online FPS :D

Any more feedback on this?

Yeah like do they feel nice? Is the sound reduction good?
:D
-
Sound reduction is very good, similar to an apple aluminium keyboard, and much more silent than the new cherry red silent switches. Especially for the big stabilized keys.
And the feeling is good, better than orings, which in my opinion are too mushy.

Too bad that I haven't received any recent update from uniqey...

Any more feedback on this?
I had a set a long while ago. IMO they are relatively useless, obviously due to the fact they can only be used with plate PCB mount keyboards, and those are few and far between.
But, I will say that they did make MX Blacks feel quite nice. I usually am not a linear fan, but I did enjoy how they felt/sounded with blacks.
They do make the bottoming out quieter, and they do reduce travel distance LESS than both o-rings and EK pads, so if you have a plate PCB mounted keyboard, these were the best option imo.
EDIT: Sorry! tired when I wrote this from Star Wars crap. PCB mount only.

Thank you very much for the feedback, if someone has a set of these clips that do not need them anymore, I will be very glad to get them.

No worries, I am sure some fellows out there would not need them anymore.

Question.. Does this do anything for "rebound" noise..
As in, does that rubber insert Pre-press the stem slightly such that the rebound noise is reduced..

Think you meant PCB mount not plate mount. :thumb:

These clips have been designed to work on PCB mounted switches, because their skirts come down over the top of the switch and they clipped on the bottom part of the top, therefore the plate does make interference with the clips, if it is installed because it seats exactly on the same edge of the top.

Yup, sure did. Must have been loopy from being up 3 days straight for that little star wars movie.

It silences completely the downstroke and the upstroke.

Could you make a video of this comparison..
Hold the switch down, then pick your hand up as fast as you can.. whip it ..

Thank you for this, and a longer one would be even better, what type of switches are those?

well alrite.. I'm convinced.. Ready to throw money...
Does this work on plate mounted or is it pcb-mounted xclusive.
I could easily cut a new plate for my ergodox to accomodate this.. I got lazers now.

I was tired when i wrote this "plate" earlier and meant PCB mount. PCB Mount only. :thumb:
