That sculpt is spot-on for a screen grab. The only thing I have to say about it is that it should be a tiny bit less shiny (if you're going for color accuracy as well). Shiny certainly looks better though.

They most likely won't stop it. Other trademarked/copywrited/otherwise-protected character keycaps have been sold on Massdrop before without a problem.

Also, does anyone know which of the three finishes this cap is in?

Gunmetal, I think. Glossy is much more shiny, and weathered is more, well, weathered.

Gunmetal looks too brown though. I was trying to pick the one that matches that display one, but none of them seem to do so.

He said in the MD comment that it was the prototype, but the closest to it is gunmetal from the three options.

Massdrop sale ended a week ago. Shipping to EU was $9, the cap itself was $25, and yeah - the eyes shine through  :thumb:
If not sooner, wait until the February for it to start shipping - I'm sure someone will be selling theirs.

It's my best friend and he considers this one of his endgame keycaps. I really like this keycap (Hence why I bought it) but would probably try to trade it for something else.

I guess it just feels wrong to let someone else have it when it could bring my buddy so much joy.

I just received mine today. Put on my Varmilo MX blue.
I'm very impressed with all the details and its paint job.
Gunmetal Dark Vader (http://imgur.com/j0yYBKw)

Except, I feel the stem of keycap is little loose. It can be easily removed with two fingers.
Not a major issue but hope it could be improved for the future keycaps.  :thumb:

So, got mine the other day and it looks GREAT.

One problem, though: it kinda doesn't fit on Filco, as it bumps the case when pressed down; the upper part of the helmet sticks out a bit too much, and you can't press it all the way down unless you lean it forward a bit - will that hurt the switch in any way?

Also, maybe someone knows: does Novatouch have the same problem?

The Melted Vader caps were available on Massdrop for about half a day before it ran out. We'll have to await another drop.
