one time at work when I was bored, I took a spring from my bic pen and put it into a MX black switch. disgustingly stiff. probably equivalent to like 200g of force.

[IC] 200g spring winkey gamer switches (http://lol_jk)
I should note that the resulting snapback force from when you release the key can sometimes be enough to launch the keycap surprisingly far into the air. an easy fix is obviously to superglue the cap to the stem.

Am I missing something? Like, $200 for a single key button? This is either a gag or some kind of strange key-fetish hysteria, right?

You've just described half of this site.

The only artisan cap I like, but not enough for that price.

How many of these were made? I'd be interested in seeing the signature on the underside of the cap; I know, how boring of me.

A few, it's not the rarest clack
The makers mark (FXE) is visible in one of the photos, place on the underside of the cap
