Hi there geekhack, I guess my account is not very new, but for the most part I have mostly been lurking and never got used to the forum layout and the community until recently. I live in British Columbia, Canada and am in university for computer sciences, been following mechanical keyboards since 2013 and am a big fan of electronics in general along with machining, I have done a lot of woodworking and have quite a bit of experience CNC'ing so hopefully I can do some exciting projects in the future. :thumb: Excited to start becoming a more active member and help contribute to the great community here!

Welcome to Geekhack!
There's quite a few artists here who work with wood, and they have produced some fantastic things!
Have a browse through making stuff together (https://geekhack.org/index.php?board=117.0) to find some of their threads.
Have you got any plans on something keyboard-related to make? Or did you just join for the keyboard aspects?

I've joined for mostly the keyboard related part, but I haven't seen too many wooden cases that I liked the look of and have been trying to get access to the CNC's at my university in hopes of trying some stuff out :)

Good luck with that!
Make as many plans as you can before you get access - you might be able to discard some of the less feasible ones and concentrate on the more likely ones when you do get access to the machine.
