Title: Vote E3E in the Deskthority awards!

If this is not allowed for some reason, feel free to take this down mods.

E3E is in the lead to win a Deskthority award for his Alps build! If you have a DT account be sure to vote for him before 20:00 UTC tomorrow! Please though, if you don't have a DT account, don't make one only to vote, we don't want to spam DT with a bunch of un-legit votes!  :thumb:

Doesn't for me... it doesn't close until tomorrow.

You're actually right, it looks like it did close... I wonder if there's an issue.

Haha, yeah. Some of the polls ended at 7 PM US Central time, while others go on to around 2 PM tomorrow, for whatever reason. If you still want to spread the love, you can vote for me on the Keyboard of the Month (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=77697.0) poll here on GeekHack, but Matt3o's White Fox is pretty crazy right now, so my hopes aren't high, haha. :P

EDIT: Poll on Deskthority is back open! It's closed again? :confused: It's open... again? XD

Thanks for everyone who's put in their vote for me! It means a lot. That build was a lot of work in and of itself, but it's also something I'd love to provide to others who'd want to either try hotswapping, or Alps on a normally MX-based PCB, or backlit Alps, etc. :)

I was initially drawn to the idea because I had never seen a documented backlit complicated Alps build, but then it turned into something different altogether!

Thanks for all your support, everyone! I made it by two votes, so those of you who took notice definitely helped! An outsider took the DTA award, whaaat? Well, I do like DT and I post there as well, but I'm relatively inactive on there compared to GeekHack.

Completely missed the poll but glad to see you still won, congrats! I go on DT too but rarely post anything, I'm much more active on GH as well.
