Title: UNITECH 104KEY $52.99 in CDW Outlet
Post by: SamirD on Wed, 16 December 2015, 12:19:40
https://www.cdw.com/shop/products/UNITECH-104KEY-POS-KB-BLK-BSTK/3871721.aspx?pfm=srh

Can't find much information on the switches in this board, but if it's a Cherry variety, it's got a lot of custom keycaps if one is needing those as a harvest.  Doesn't seem like a bad board overall if it's got some good switches as it's vastly programmable and even has a serial port and card-reader built-in (for whatever you'd want to use that for).

I'm guessing it's Cherry made and has MX Blacks. Is that a serial port on the side, though? What would that be for?

Your guess is as good as mine, but if it is and someone needs A LOT of customizeable keycaps, this would be a great find for them.

As far as the serial port, I thought I read one of the sites when I was researching this board that it can be used with their serial barcode reader.

So CDW lowered the price to $34.99, so I called Unitech to find out what switches are in it--unfortunately, it's just a rubberdome. :(

On the plus side, rubber domes are handy as nipple protectors.

I saw the rubber dome of a rca bluetooth keyboard at walmart that someone had taken the keycap off of and the rubber dome looked like a mini-breast complete with nipple, lol.  Pressing it and seeing it deflect made me giggle.  :-X
