Newegg has the Power Color R9 390 8gb triple fan gpu for $270 after a $20 mir. Even at $289 this is a solid deal for a card that is faster than a 970. If you have the space for it and need to get your 1440p monitor over 60 fps, this will do the trick.

The card is farly loud under load, but does stay fairly cool. (peaks at ~72c in a CoolerMaster HAF XB)

Again? damn, last time you could drop it way down to 220-230 with amex+visa checkout thingy. deffo better than gigabyte or asus though.
