Title: Vortex Pok3r Caps Lock LED
Post by: Zaskar on Sat, 19 December 2015, 13:39:22
I just bought a Vortex Pok3r non LED because I was interested in adding my own LED's to it, but I just noticed under the caps lock key it seems the LED is in the switch, and the space next to the switch where it traditionally would of been is simply devoid of a LED.

Does this mean that the caps lock key wont be avble to have a backlight, or are you supposed to move the LED to the spot next to it?

I saw a video of a Pok3r owner changing the caps lock LED, and he removed the switch mounted one and added a new one in the space next to it. Maybe when you toggle the backlight LED's on it assumes that the the switch mounted LED is a backlight LED if it senses a LED in the other slot? Just updated the firmware and hit FN+X to enable LED's and the caps lock didn't go on so I know that it doesn't just assume that the switch mounted is a backlight when enabled.

Anyone have any info on this?
