My GF works at NBC studios occasionally (sometimes for Steve Harvey's productions), and all the stagehands and crew are there on time. But the production doesn't start until Steve shows up, and he has no sense of urgency. He is so detached from what is going on around him its amazing.

Why's this a big deal, I mean, people get things wrong all the time,  I think the pageant is overall pretty boring to watch on its own.  This livens it up.

he's got good points and bad points.


The many advice on "behavior" of people is mostly correct,  most older people will give you the same advice.

However,  Things that he says about Politics, the Sciences,  Morality,   he simply does not have the experience in researching those topics to make meaningful statements.

behavioral advice and knowledge is easy to obtain and a "freebie" in life for most people, Live long enuff, and you start to "get it" why people behave in certain ways..


But, the other stuff are excursions that require commitment outside of merely running the simple course of life.

Yea, see this is what people don't understand about human connections.

the Concept of friendship is actually the INCREASE in average emotional distances between people.

Think about it this way..  for a friendship to exist,  we must 'Not be' friends with <others>.


So, for every friend that you do make, you fundamentally distance yourself from the entire rest of the collective who are now NOT your friends.


The friends-concept is a Barrier-concept more so than it is a Linking-concept.


Friendship breaks more connections than it creates...
