Title: Landing pads for Cherry profile?
Post by: Harms on Mon, 21 December 2015, 03:07:57
Hi guys, got my varmilo in today and it came with cherry profile caps which are amazing. however, I usually use the 1.5mm (pink wasd o rings). I put them on the cherry profile switch and it reduces the travel way to much. This is also the smallest o ring variant on the market. Do you guys think soft landing pads by EK would help. I heard they dont reduce travel as much as these o rings. :O

Just tested out some landing pads side by side with o-rings. The travel reduction is similar, if not the same.

Though, the landing pads have softer/springier bottom out compared to the more solid bottom out of the o-rings.

You may try the trampoline mod using silicone balls.
