Title: Wine-inspired HHKB Topre caps
Post by: ander on Fri, 25 December 2015, 19:38:29
I was pleased to see that some new wine-inspired "artisan" caps are being produced for Topre switches, e.g.:

New Custom Artisan Happy Hacking Keyboard HHKB Topre Bordeaux Escape Key PBT (http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Custom-Artisan-Happy-Hacking-Keyboard-HHKB-Topre-Bordeaux-Escape-Key-PBT-/151917547833)

I'm looking forward to the Merlot, Riesling and Pinot Noir caps, which are supposed to come out soon. I suppose it'd be too much to hope for a Chardonnay or Gewürztraminer, though... What do you think?

Makes me thirsty. Need to open up a bottle right about now.

I think $13+shipping is damn expensive for dyed caps.

You can buy a blank HHKB set for $60 shipped, which, assuming selling FN row and Esc row caps, is ~$2 a cap.  Dye is ~$3 a packet and I'm sure you're doing several caps at a time.  If you do mod sets, arrow key sets, etc., the cost is even lower per cap.
