Title: Built a Plank!
Post by: i3oilermaker on Sun, 27 December 2015, 17:06:52
So far I'm a big fan!  Flashed with custom firmware made from AVR and making tweaks as i go along.

Solid little board and i like having my fingers in one place.

Looks nice! Is it handwired or did you get the massdrop PCB?

Very nice! I have one too from a few months back, what layout are you using?

I really want to get all the parts to build a planck eventually, probably once all of the massdrop orders are taken care of since they have to be fulfilled first. I ordered some switches from the site without looking at the banner on the order page mentioning that.... But jack was awesome and canceled the order for me even though i know he probably has a lot of people bugging him about the same thing, and it was completely my own fault. I didn't have enough to keep the order and make an order for the switches i needed this month.

My only gripe about the massdrop kit was it came with a PCB stabalizer which really didn't work on the PCB.  Luckily I had a Cherry plate mount stab that worked like a charm
