I wonder how shiny the space bar is after years of use.

Mine is dated Feb-2011 and the space bar was very shiny (now replaced with a PBT space bar).

Killer deal for a SECOND HAND keyboard.....wake up sunshine, it's at the end of life because silicone cups (topre) start to go stiff and/or break up, so what's the killer deal here besides the raping of gullible wallets  ;) ?

We had one new member a while back that had used an HHKB for around 8 years with no ill effects (on the keyboard).

I've never heard of this happening to topres.... A lot of rubber dome el cheapos last years and years....
