Hey guys, wondering if anyone can provide some insight here.. I was too tired when I wired my new USB cable and got the V- and V+ mixed up and fried my Leopold Numpad when I plugged it in (I also did a detachable cable mod to it a while back). I looked at the PCB and it looks like the Capacitor(?) at C10 is the one that smoked out and turned black. Not sure if the controller is still ok. I have fried some IC's before on other non-keyboard projects and I knew right away I fried this when I smelled the burnt out parts. If I replace the C10 cap is it likely to fix the problem do any of you know? Would like to salvage this if possible. I found a pic of the original C10 and it looks orange, and I can't see the writing on it and don't know the value of the Cap. Can anyone help?
Here are some pics.

I believe the code on the part to be:
106C
10J34
It was too hard to capture with my cell phone :)

Thanks so much! This means it should be a 10uF 5% cap. I will report back and let everyone know how to goes for posterity.

My capacitors finally arrived and I soldered one in and bam! Works like a charm! In case anyone else wires one of these backwards on the USB you know you can fix it :)

Always refreshing when one posts a followup!
