You better take your vitamins and say your prayers.
Funny enough, I found my goal keyset (Red Alert) day 1 of 2016. As for individual keys, I don't know. Probably an OG Tri skull:

Well, I'm still not sure if the cap's name is xxxxRot or GumRot. Gummyrot was called Gummyrot Green GumRot when it was sold, the solid was GumRot, then you had RageRot. Clack would have to give the official name, but I call the ogre either Rot or Gumrot since he hasn't seemed to have a clear name for it.
Still looking for my first Bros and Clark cap :(

Making this thread was a mistake. All these beautiful caps that exist! so silly of me to think just the two that I wanted are the only ones. On another not I think i found a toothy grumpkin, price was a little high, so might not go through with it. I wanna trade into these :/ but will i ever own a candy corn like that?

You will!
I would honestly keep trying to trade unless it's a really rare opportunity for a cap high on your personal wishlist. You're starting out wanting some of the rarest/most expensive caps so naturally so it's perfectly normal if it takes you a while to procure them. Plus getting new interesting caps, trading with people, seeing your caps being posted by them, is all part of the fun (a journey is more fun than the destination kinda thing?). I have purchased some caps for more than I wish to admit - but in the end all of my caps are on my display board as equals.
Stick around long enough and something will come your way. Heck people have even contacted me through PM after seeing a rather insignificant post saying that I wanted a specific cap.
But if you really want a cap. You really want it. :)) And if you have the money in hand you'll get it.

The pain of losing raffles and first come first serve sales is an important part of being an artisan collector. It sharpens the joy of acquisition.

The sales on this forum are the most fun you can have! but they can also be the least fun

On another not I think i found a toothy grumpkin, price was a little high, so might not go through with it. I wanna trade into these :/ but will i ever own a candy corn like that? With patience and if you make friends here you will get what you want ;) If you want a friendly advice, don't buy overpriced caps the satisfaction of hunting and trading and participating in sales will make you appreciate the caps more :thumb: I've seen in the last years a couple of people with deep pockets who bought what they wanted at any cost, and in the end the price paid was to big... lost the sympathy of the wonderful people here and just disappeared. It's true they had a huge collection worth $$$$, but lost the real value of this ... A cap won in a sale or giveaway has more value than anything bough with $$$
I intially did that and i regretted it. Now i hunt, also i don't have deep pockets, i aw actually struggling a little atm. However i always believed in a hobby and right now this in it. I will heed your advice fellow human :dMaking this thread was a mistake. All these beautiful caps that exist! so silly of me to think just the two that I wanted are the only ones. As soon as I clear a bit the stuff going on in my life I plan on sharing here some of my luck and a Grumpkin might be part of that ;) So have patience my young padawan

So true. The anticipation of sales and closing trade deals is so much more fun than actually getting the "perfect" cap.

Freedom Eagle Clack
That is not mandatory, in 2014 GON won, this year E3E. Any outstanding contribution is appreciated, it can be photography, innovation, project and it's not limited to DT members, that's what's so nice at DT Awards. It helps if you are a member because you get more exposure but considering that DT members are active also on other forums you won't get unnoticed ;)I want one of those Deskthority WingNut keys. That one you have to earn, it can't be bought. I snagged a grumpkin for a good deal, not that much more than retail! so happy! dint think it would happen so soon. However I seems to tight for the stem. I dont wanna break anything on the ducky. I will wait till the white fox gets here and ill experiment with an extra switch and some lube. Anytips?Congrats, you wanted one really bad :thumb: The tightness is solved really easy with a spare switch, just insert it gently a few times and problem is solved.
Yes i will wait for extra switches. To try it! I started to get serious and research my end game!Don't give up :) You have joined a month ago, already have 2 cool artisans, it took me way longer to get my first Bro and CC and even longer to get the one CC I really wanted and loved. The first CC sale I made in was after 2 years, but getting a CC from the "Man" himself is really something worth waiting for.
the last candy corn skull sold for $275! and anada seems immposible to get! i dint even know it was that rare , i just like the colors lol ! well maybe i should give up on them too, the same way i gave up on ever being to date someone as hot as elisha cuthbert
I'm hoping one of the lovely new and up-and-coming cap makers will come up with some fun Alps and BS caps. And of course I'm hoping ClickClack will release some more BS Clacks.
I painted it bocahgundul. It was designed by Tasker and I had it 3D printed out of frosted plastic. :)So far my favorite would be this one, which is currently for sale. :cool:wat wat where did you find this awesome stuff?
