Hello keyboard enthusiasts brothers...
I read a lot of things on this board as a guest so I decided to register myself here. I am a greek living in germany and own a bunch of mechanical keyboards.
- Varmilo VA87M MX-Red (2x)
- CM Storm QuickFire Rapid MX-Green
- Vortex Poker 2 MX-Red
- CM Novatouch (2x)
- Realforce 87U 55g (on the way to me)
In the future I am looking to get a HHKB in black also I am a big fan of colorful key cap sets (mostly PBT). (:
But now let me explain why I ask for help...
I had big issues registering here on geekhack! I tried to register myself at the beginning of this year with an @gmx.de email address. I did not receive the activation code, so I waited and waited and tried again an again. Than I decided to try with another address, so I tried an @web.de email address. No activation code... I tried an @gmx.com address, also no code here... Don't get me wrong, I checked the spam and everything on all addresses! So last thing I tried was a website that gives you a temporary email address for 10 minutes and boom, the code was within 1 second in the inbox! My problem now is that my account uses an email address which does not more exist (some cryptic email address). ):
I need help from an admin I guess that can change my email address back to one of my personal emails but I guess that will mean I will never get emails from since I never did get the activation mail. Is geekhack on a german blacklist or something like that...?
Hope someone can help me... (:
Thanks!

I'm also German, I used my Gmail address, it worked flawlessly. If you want to change the mail address which is registered here on your geekhack account, Go to Profile, then account settings and enter your new email address, then "change profile". It should be as simple as that.
Also, welcome to geekhack, but I guess I'm just as new as you here ;)

Welcome to Geekhack!
I had trouble when I registered, and back then (different forum software) there was a link to report registration problems directly to the admins, so I did. One of the admins ended up creating my account.
Your problem seems like a candidate for a post in feedback/suggestions (https://geekhack.org/index.php?board=64.0). Either post in the bug reports (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=33106.0) thread or create a new thread about German email provider problems.
