Title: Prototyping a Topre cap near Los Angeles
Post by: Ramage on Tue, 12 January 2016, 10:24:14
I'm looking for someone in the Los Angeles area who would be willing to test my wooden topre caps and give me feedback on the fit.  I don't have a topre compatible board so I'd be relying on you to convey detailed information back to me about what I should change in order to improve the cap.  If you're interested just let me know.  It'll be fun!  ;D

Are they regular or HiPro style? I only have a HiPro board.

I'd offer being in Orange County, but I'm terrified of a stem breaking off in my switch.  Most wood isn't going to have the lateral stability I'd want.  That and if the wood isn't stabilized or sealed, you could run into swelling and shrinkage issues.
