Hi guys, after much review and feedback through another thread on Geekhack and other keyboard communities on a keycap I prototyped and originally had planned to sell for a small batch (15 units) I had found that the price was way to astronomic and outrageous (and agreeably so on my behalf). I have decided to move onto conducting a group buy. It is a keycap machined from Aluminium then coated with a matte paint. Pictures can be seen below:

The extra wall thickness on the top of the cap gives the cap a lot of extra weight and oomph when pressed! *THUMP*

Here's a video of how it sounds in comparison to an ABS key (on a MX Blue). NOTE: this is a prototype version of the keycap! There have been changes made to it since the video ^__^

Aluminium keycap mould for resin casting! Funds from this special edition will be used to prototype and test a resin cast I'm designing, which I will sell if it works as expected! Hallmarking/custom designs will exist with this solution!

Mostly quantity, yes, it's absolutely unbelievable how much the price goes down from a small batch production to 100 units! Chopped off a bit with the packaging as well - although, it's still going to be nicely packaged :D

Super happy I got the price this far down though :D
