Was it simply quantity?Mostly quantity, yes, it's absolutely unbelievable how much the price goes down from a small batch production to 100 units! Chopped off a bit with the packaging as well - although, it's still going to be nicely packaged :D

Initially it was post $100 USD per-cap to produce at small quantities O_o Due to the initial setup fee and what not :S So at quantity it's the setup fee is amortized over time

It was 15 units through a manufacturer who's geared up for prototyping, I think I was getting a little reamed initially :[
Suppose that 100 is 6x+ over 15, but still sounds very high. Must be due to the location I presume but not much you can do about that now.
Much better pricing now!
