Within exactly 100 square meters, my apartment,  the only single edible thing (excluding shoe leather) is this pack of Ramen.

hard to find good watermelon here in the winter, people don't believe in frozen or refrigerated fruits/veggies here, so late season preserves don't sell well..

Everyone's all super sn00bed on "freshness",   it's more Serious than the whole-foods people back in the states.

as long as it's real traditional leather YES..


The modern industrially treated leather, prolly not, because they likely infused it with petro-derivatives.

Fried QQ Tofu (it's like a springy tofu)

Fried Cauliflower (this is their only Veggie)

Red Bean Pudding (kinda like jello)

Fried Squid

I also added Fried Duck Triquetrum over the fone, (it's a crazy name, but it's delicious)

On the topic of eating shoe leather I once was told a story that there was a chinese man in a mine in china that caved in and he was trapped there for 4 days and ate his leather belt and licked the moisture off the walls to survive

When I was single I used to keep a bowl of fruit on the fridge.

Most times the fruit would sit there for weeks, go off, and get thrown out.

Then I replaced the bowl of fruit with a bowl of chocolates.

Would you believe that the chocolates kept disappearing and I had to keep filling them up!
