I know that the Whitefox drop wasn't too long ago but still, custom full aluminum 65% is still pretty rare in the market.
I've bought some Leeku's Finger L3 PCB previously, the one with 65% layout and wanted to make an aluminum case for the board else the pcbs would go to waste.
Features of the case (for now):
Fully CNC-ed aluminum, 2 part case design
You can screw the plate either to the top part of the case or the bottom part of the case
Angled bottom case
I'll be getting the renders and start prototyping on Q1 and see if there's any issues to be fixed.

Fortunately for my wallet, and rather unfortunately for me, missing out on the Octagon will allow me to throw some cash at a nice board. Can't wait to see what this one has in store. :thumb:

this is pretty subjective. plate that is screwed to the top half like the kmac2 feels better, at least for me.

The side profile of LZ-SQ and the brass plates like those of TGR series appeal to me very much.

having a nice side profile is a double edged sword. it can be very time consuming depending on complexity and thus increasing the milling cost.
maybe i'll just stick to simpler side profile or the ones like kmacs

it's been a long while since this thread got an update.
okay, updates.
1 - Might not be using Finger PCB. Will design a 65% PCB from scratch, using the firmware from the keyboard that you guys have seen before and hyped about previously.
2 - Renders, as usual, will be here soon ^ TM
