Title: [IC] Noise / Resonance Damper Pad for all Keyboard sizes
Post by: Thumper_ on Wed, 27 January 2016, 06:43:42
This is a IC for 3.5mm thick noise / resonance damper pads similar to the ones GON sales. (see here (http://www.gonskeyboardworks.com/others/21-filler-for-controlling-ressonance.html))

I'm located in the EU and will ship those worldwide, although shipping to the US in a package with tracking is ~16€ and in a envelope (size 45x35cm) is ~7€.

If there is enough interest i will run this as a GB soonish, with prices around or below the GON price.
Most likely in 3 sizes (60%, TKL, Fullsize).

I would probably buy 2-3 pieces, maybe more since you are so close :thumb:

I really don't know, but for this little money I will try it.
Most likely it will have the same effect as sound absorber in studios.

Does it go inside or under the case?

Edit: followed the link and it looks like it goes inside.  I'm interested.

Also interested in how effective these are although I would still be interested in a couple 60% pads for testing  :thumb:

Interested in a TKL. Maybe this'll help my Jane ping issue.

I would get a few in full size and TKL, but given that GON's are just $3 it will depend on how much you can actually lower the price and whether your shipping options will make it worth as opposed to ordering from GON (I'm in Australia).

ping issue = springs, lube them to get rid of it :)

That's the thing. When I requested my board assembly I listed lubed springs and stabs (clipped too). Not sure why it's so scratchy and rattles.
