Howdy and welcome! You joined at a good time. Bro Caps has got some big sales and exciting things coming up this month, there are group buys up for some very good SA sets, and a few interest checks are up on a variety of new keyboards.

What mechanical keyboard are you using? Or have you joined to seek inspiration for your first one?

Reds and clears kinda opposite ends of the (non-clicky) spectrum. Have you got a preference? Most people gravitate towards lighter switches, or to heavier switches (I prefer heavier).
HHKB will be a completely different experience again ;)

They're both wonderful for different reasons. I like my reds for gaming and my clears for typing. I find I prefer heavier switches, my favorite switches of the cherry family are probably blacks. Typing on heavy switches is so nice, it's like the keyboard is helping you type.

I like heavy switches for gaming too - less likely to suddenly jump or leap sideways by accidentally resting my finger on a switch :))

Welcome to the community!
I own an HHKB and 45g feels great for programming/general writing. Had no issues gaming. It's a great keyboard.
