I usually use the FC660C with my smartphone, so I never had much use for the Esc key, but now I'm using it more with my PC, I've noticed that it doesn't really work, and I'd to find out why from fellow FC660C owners.
When I press the Esc key normally, it doesn't perform like a normal Esc would--nothing happens. For example, if I press Ctrl+****+Esc to activate the Task Manager, it doesn't work. If I'm in full-screen mode of a web browser (F11), pressing Esc does not get out of full-screen mode as it should normally. However, when I use the Esc key with Shift or Fn modifiers, I do get the ~ and ` (as according to the dip-switch setting).
So what's going on?

Func + Q will toggle the default action for the Esc key. Maybe try that combo, then try it out?

Sorry, I forgot to specify. It's the FC660C, the Topre version.

Just tried it, and it didn't do anything except light up the Insert key LED.
