so, long story short, i purchased an unused corsair strafe (non RBG,MX Red) few days ago. it just came today.
when it comes, as my ritual when a second hand good comes, i gotta clean it first.
the problem comes when i'm cleaning the body of the keyboard with a baby wipes, i noticed some of the cotton/fabric/whatever are stuck in the corsair letter at the upper left on the keyboard. when i'm trying to remove the cotton, suddenly the part of the letter comes off and struck my fingers. (don't worry, just a little scratch) no worry there, but now the part of the letter is broken.

yeah, Corsaip.
later i found that the whole logo is attached using a double tape.... not even a glue. what the hell are they thinking..
so..
Quick fix using clear tape and cyanoacrylate a.k.a. super glue.

TLDR:
holy hell, Corsair? i know that you're a company that want your profit as highest as possible. i know that in order to achieve that, you have to cheap on some parts. but cheap out on your logo? cmon...
just a warning for strafe non RGB user like me out there.. remember to use a clear tape on the logo and letters before you wipe up the keyboard's body..... or just remove it away :-X

This is all you had to type. No need to say any more we understand.

well.. it was sealed.
all other parts of the keyboard are like new and perfectly working.
but if, maybe my statement isn't valid enough, let's wait for other people who have purchased it to comment here.
edit:typo

I'm not even seeing why you'd even want another companys dumb logos on the keyboard. If it was me I'd just spray on some of the citrus stuff that melts adhesives and get rid of it altogether.

I have a list of all things based on why Corsair suck.
They're good for the switches but only because they're Cherry

... you got me there.
i'm removing this logo tomorrow. because of this incident i can't type properly, one of my finger's bandaged now.

damn, i love their computer case and RAMs, but to think that this is what they do with their keyboards..
but yeah, they're pretty comfy to type because they're Cherry lol.

Any big company is bound to have divisions. Corsair has obviously been pants on head retarded when it comes to their "gaming" division. Let's look at things:
we've never released a single mouse with proper combination of sensor and sensor implementation in form of firmware/software!
we wanted to change the company logo into something that resembles a tramp stamp
we insisted on keeping the trampstamp when people complained
we had to back off and "decided" to not put tramp stamp on everything after overwhelming amount of complaints
our RGB keyboard is no1 when it comes to complains on malfunctioning LEDs for mechanical keyboards
our poor quality (RGB) keyboards are sold for outrageous prices
Just because of the brand name doesn't guarantee it's run by the same people.

loled at that quote :)) and here i thought their RGB was good.. fortunately i didn't go with those.
yeah, i know they have divisions, just wondering where the hell is their quality control regarding all of this mess..
fortunately i didn't have any problem except the metal plate which struck my finger.

I'd say that removing the logo is an improvement.
I wonder why this feature wasn't advertised.

Based Corsair taking in the fact that some people might prefer a blank board with no logo.
Maybe that was their intent all along :))

Or people will go to the alternative "gaming" keyboard that has a better, non-removable logo: Razer. :(

yes, i guess this keyboard is more beautiful with the logo removed.. so be it then.

Honestly they're perfectly fine, just not quite as good as Cherry in my experience so I just think Kailh boards should be priced a bit cheaper imo, which is what Razer fails at most of all
