No offense to him as I'm sure he loves this thing, but I can't see anyone paying that much except for him. He has been trying to sell it for a while. I hope someone grabs it. =/

In the end something of this price (relatively MUCH higher than the standard options) will take a long time to sell no matter what.

He should however probably be more active in selling it off ebay for a lower price as ebay will take up to $600 in seller fees by themselves.

Couldn't he buy it from himself and use it as a tax deduction?

I have to say, though, I wasn't aware that the "holy grail of keyboards" had Croatian diacritics. Is there a particular reason for that? Did Cherry start up in Croatia, or was there some pivotal Croat KB innovator ? I'm trying to grasp the connection.

He bought it to "confirm colors" for the TA GB and stated that he spent a considerable amount on it.  Since he did make money on the GB, it would make sense for it to be partially written off on taxes as a business expense.

The diacritics are there because that's the region the board was made for.

Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $200 for the board, regardless of how rare it was, especially since ABS gets more brittle as it ages.  If I was to drop big bucks, it would have to be on a dyesub set.

I remember him posting something in the lines of: "end game", "long time dream" etc.

Also i would do the same, pbt will last forever :)

Yeah this is why I said he's pretty much the only one that would pay that much since it was his dream set and he was running the IC for TA. Idk how vocal he is about it, but the only time I see discussion about it is from other members finding this on eBay.
