I have one, it came on a German M4-1 I bought ages ago.
I don't like the smooth caps - the finish off them wears off and they feel sticky after you use them for a while.

I assume they're the textured ones? They're good, but not easy to keep clean. I'd like if you could use the modern Trackpoint caps, but unfortunately IBM/Lenovo modified the design somewhere along the line to use a thicker stick.

When I bought my M4-1 I got the same pack as above, only I got two reds and one black. I put the black nub on my M13 for a few days, before finally opting to remove the trackpoint completely.
